Curriculum – Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

The activities and experiences we provide, planned and unplanned, which encourage knowledge, understanding and development skills.

From birth to the end of reception

The overarching principals of the EYFS are organised into four guiding themes underpinning effective practice in the care, and development of young children which express these important principals.  These themes are: unique child, positive relationships, enabling environment and children learn and develop in different ways and at different rates.

By means of developmentally appropriate play activities and a high level of adult support, we offer a fun and enjoyable curriculum which helps children make good progress towards the Early Learning Goals.  There is information about these displayed in our corridor and elsewhere on this website.
